Nice shots... I ike abotu your videos that transport us to these awesome and far away places... I wouldn't mind seeing you talking about your experience over there...
Do you like it mroe to do documenatry clips? Without anyone talking? Or are you linving your appearences for personal use?
Des: As far as my camera goes I shoot using a Canon GL1 which is a decent 3 chip camera. Getting a bit old but it still works. I used a good mic though which adds a lot to the overall feel. One of the tricks to get good images is a little colour correction as the final step before outputting it. Juan: When I shot these videos I was more interested in simply capturing people and moments rather than turning myself into a Lonely Planet/Rough Guides presenter. If I shot them again, I would probably throw myself in a few more shots here and there.
Thanks for these insightful videos of tibet. I especially like the ones with only ambient sounds (esp. this one and the yak plowing); it's so much like being there.
- I am a Canadian who moved to Prague in June 2004.
I am hoping to show that with a little care and creativity travel videos need not be painful to watch.
I also wrote a book Offical Rock Paper Scissors Strategy Guide
